Scott had a way of drawing you deeply into his world, from childhood to his time in the service to the time of his unjust persecution and even to his trip to Israel. I felt I was living it all with him. This book had a profound impact on my perspectives in many areas. Especially now when I say “Thank you for your service” it is from a heart that has a deeper understanding of what our men and women go through as they serve our country.
